Video "Thing that wasn't possible yesterday is happening today and isn't a barrier for tomorrow" is a finalist at 7th Screengrab International Media Arts Award; Pinnacles Gallery; from 18 December 2015 - 28 February 2016, Townsville, Quennsland, Australia.
SCREENGRAB is an annual international search for challenging and provocative works by media arts practitioners and theorists working in screen based media. Each year the theme is designed to reflect current issues associated with critical media theory and the wider socio-political concerns that operate along the fault lines and at the fringes of network culture. Past themes have included Intervention (2009), Network(2010), Nostalgia (2011), Control (2012) Ambience (2013) and Velocity (2014).
The 2015 theme is RESISTANCE and all interpretations of the theme were considered: the politics of resistance, the physics of resistance, the messiness of resistance, the urgency of resistance – and all its private, political and social connotations.
